'the unforeseen beauty'

In a speculative future, plastic surgery and cosmetic enhancements drastically alter society's perception of beauty. The fusion of marketing and capitalism within the healthcare industry leads to unforeseen consequences, including a growing obsession with appearance. Over time, individuals lose touch with their natural features, as enhancement becomes the norm rather than the exception. As society embraces artificial standards, genuine human diversity is eroded, replaced by a homogenized ideal. Even clothing becomes a tool to exaggerate and conform to these unattainable beauty standards. This future serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of prioritizing superficial ideals over authenticity and diversity.

For my animated video, I used blender to create an avatar with an extremely enhanced figure. I used 3d scans to create the textures of the skin, and fitted the clothing to the avatars extreme body.

For the rest of the collection, I went in the direction of how the garments could work as a tool to give people the body enhancements.
